Scatter stylish cork-backed coasters, emblazoned with your crown logo and a vintage map of your city, throughout the party. Functional yet refined, they will continue your theme while saving your countertops and tables from permanent drink stains.

Makes 2 Coasters

Materials:

1 sheet 8 1/2" x 11" (21.5cm x 28cm) white card stock
1 sheet 9" x 12" (23cm x 30.5cm) Avery® self-adhesive laminating sheets (sold in packs of 50 sheets)
1 sheet 12" (30.5cm) square cork board tile (come in packs of 4)

Tools:

Craft knife
Self-healing cutting mat
Ruler
Hot-glue gun

Crown clip-art
Vintage map

Instructions:

1. Create an 8 1/2" x 11" (21.5cm x 28cm) document in your computer page layout or word-processing program and draw crop marks for your 2 coaster cards. Each card should be 33⁄4" (9.5cm) square. Place your scanned art inside your crop marks.

2. Print the document on the sheet of white card stock. Peel off the protective backing of the Avery self-adhesive laminating sheet and press onto the printed side of the card stock only, following the enclosed Avery instructions. Trim the laminated card to the crop marks.

3. Hot glue each coaster card to the cork board tile with your hot-glue gun.

4. Trim the cork tile around the coaster card, leaving a 1/8" (3mm) border on each side of the card.
